My stihl chainsaws engine gets seized in the recoiled start. I took the recoil start off and nothing was wrong with it, it was the engine. The flywheel was stuck and I turned it till it broke free. I put the recoiled back on, gave it 4-6 pulls, and it got stuck again. Then I took it all apart again and broke the fly wheel free and gave it a few pulls and it seized again. Any ideas.

Just got a Granberg G777 Small Log Mill, not going to be milling anything bigger than 10-12", softer woods like juniper, fir and ponderosa. I have 2 saws: first an old Stihl 041 Farm boss that leaks bar lube, which I recently replaced with a new MS291 with a 20" bar so I could more comfortably clear a ton of smaller trees for defensible space around the property. Love the 291 runs like a top, pretty fuel efficient too seems like, I also already bought a granberg ripping chain for the 291 w/ 20... I am thinking about buying a used Stihl MS 290 Chainsaw that has little use for $300. Since Stihl did away with this model can you still get parts for it?
